MY CAT LIVES ZEN.
THE SUNSET HANGS BETWEEN THE SHEETS -
IT MAKES NO DRAMA OUT OF IT.
PURRING I ARRIVE.
ALL CAT. ALL ZEN.

JUMP INTO NEW ME.
DIVING INTO DEEP WATER.
IN HOW MUCH DARKNESS,
CAN YOU HOLD YOUR LIGHT?
SOMEWHERE BETWEEN FEAR AND BECOMING,
THE FRAGMENTS REARRANGE. CAN YOU TRUST THE SILENCE,
BEFORE THE FIRST PETALS OF THE NEW BLOOM DARE TO OPEN…?

IT´S NOT FEAR THAT HOLDS YOU
IT´S HOW FAR YOU ARE WILLING TO TRUST.
THE PATH IS A LANDSCAPE,
UNEVEN, SOFT, ALIVE.
LET THE EARTH HOLD YOU,
LET THE UNKNOWN UNFOLD.
YOUR TRUST IS THE ONLY LIMIT.

2026
It all began with a pattern I encountered in Reykjavík, on Borgatún.
I was fascinated by the way the pattern worked without symmetry or mirroring. It seemed to have no fixed centre, no obvious repetition — and yet it created a strong sense of order. Looking at it, I found myself thinking of hopscotch and labyrinths. I wondered which of the stones I would choose if I had to find my way through the pattern, and whether there might be a path hidden within it.
At the same time, the white stones reminded me of clouds scattered irregularly across the Icelandic sky. The only mirroring I could find was therefore not within the pattern itself, but between what was above and what was below: the clouds in the sky and the pale stones embedded in the ground.
From this starting point, I began to investigate patterns not only as visual structures, but as systems of connection. The first works deliberately echo the observed pavement pattern, attempting to find meaning and relationships within it. Small dots, grids, and embroidery become ways of connecting individual elements, while transparent paper gradually shifts the work from something grounded and tactile towards something lighter and more ephemeral.

Treated with a turmeric-and-alcohol solution and briefly exposed to the evening light during the Equinox in Iceland 2026, the papers develop abstract patterns in yellow and orange tones. What emerges is organic rather than controlled — a pattern created through weather, light, material, and chance.
Here, I no longer try to reproduce or understand the pattern. I give it space to happen. I enter the process without expectations, allowing nature to become a co-author of the work.
